APPLICATION OF THE OHIO LEMON LAW TO AUTOMOBILE LEASES
The Lemon Law's protection of "consumers" includes lessees of a misrepresented
vehicle, as of September 15, 1999. Pertuset v. Ford Motor Co.,
96 Ohio App. 3d 777, 645 N.E.2d 1329 (4th Dist. Scioto County 1994)
The legislature amended the law, because a lessee is a person who has the
right to enforce the terms of a warranty.
